Vic Firth Ted Atkatz Concert snare sticks are part of the Symphonic Signature Series offering products from the brightest talents in symphonic music. Ted Atkatz, principal percussionist and assistant timpanist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Tim Genis, principal timpanist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, shared their expertise in the development of these concert snare sticks. They feature a wood tip with a length of 17" and diameter of .660".

Made from persimmon wood, known for it's density, durability and high impact resistance. These sticks produce a full-bodied and slightly darker sound than other wood. The density also gives added power, allowing the player to avoid overplaying.
