The Peavey Max 700 Bass Amplifier Head is a punishingly loud top box design that cranks out 700W @ 2 ohms, 475W @ 4 ohms, or 275W @ 8 ohms. The amp head features a 3-band active EQ with shiftable midrange control, lively contour control, and -10dB pad switch. The Max 700 has an active crossover with variable frequency and balanced controls; a buffered tuner send jack; footswitchable post-EQ effects loop; transformer balanced XLR jack with pre-/post-EQ send switch and ground lift; DDT power amp compression with defeat switch; and preamp out/power amp in jacks.
