The U-shape neck and cutaway help those with bigger hands float up and down the rosewood fretboard. The Grand Concert body with its X bracing and all-mahogany tonewood provides a darker sound with more midrange throughout making it an ideal for those who love that classic Americana sound. The Ibanez AV2COPN is a Grand Concert size guitar featuring a solid-Mahogany top with Mahogany back and sides, and a satin-finish Mahogany neck. The all-Mahogany construction produces a tight low end with focused mids and highs, making it an excellent choice for fingerstyle and acoustic blues. The Natural Open Pore finish allows for optimum vibration and resonance to create a tone, volume and projection that are far beyond what one would expect from an instrument of this size and price range.

A bone nut and saddle make the AV2COPN an extremely responsive instrument, reproducing delicate finger picking or percussive strumming with equal distinction. A beautiful Mother of Pearl rosette surrounds the sound hole and a double purfling outline encompasses the perimeter of the guitars top for added ornate refinement. Other features include a vintage 3-ply Tortoise Shell pickguard, a Rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays, and chrome open gear tuners.
