Jimbo's bass is set up with gut strings, a King Deluxe chrome tailpiece, and the King Doll Head Piezo pickup system. The model is 3/4 size hand-built with 5-ply, top-grade maple and spruce plywood. It also features a highly figured AAA flamed maple top, back and sides; hand-carved steel reinforced maple neck; a top quality ebony fingerboard; precision, German-made Rubner tuning machines; and a King designed adjustable endpin. Each bass is hand painted and custom pinstriped in the USA, and comes professionally set up and ready to play with Jagar Dolce strings.
