The large diaphragm MXL 992 condenser mic delivers the dynamic range required for the most demanding applications. The MXL 992 has an airy, open sound with low self-noise essential for accurate digital recording. The mic's range is 20Hz-20kHz, with 10dB of switchable attenuation, and a selectable -10dB low-frequency roll-off. MXL gives the MXL 992 mic a large brass enclosure and includes a deluxe carrying case and a custom-designed shock mount.
