Tumbao Series Timbales

The Gon Bops timbales from the Tumbao series are made from a rolled-steel drum shell and feature the same professional features as the Alex Acu±a Series Timbales. With a brighter cascara and overall tone, Tumbao timbales are versatile enough for most Jazz, Rock, or Latin situations. Included is a Gon Bops timbale Stand with a Push-Lock mounting system and heavy-duty Mega-Tripod base.

Timbales are shown with optional guiro hoops and cowbells (sold separately).

Gon Bops timbales are the result of years of refinement and design innovation. From the steel shell Tumbao Series, to the brass Alex Acu±a model, each is designed to provide optimal high-end attack, resonance, and body, and each has its own distinct "cascara" or shell sound. Features include heavy-gauge cold-rolled steel counter hoops, low profile side plates, recessed tuning rods, smooth white heads, and rock-steady Gon Bops timbale stands.
