The "student" model that became the instrument of choice for many guitar legends.
With a lightweight slab mahogany body and a single Gibson P-90 pickup, the Junior quickly became Gibson's most popular model, outselling the ES-125 by 142 units in 1955 and peaking at 2,959 shipped in 1957. The Les Paul Junior continued its reign as Gibson's best selling guitar until 1960.
Faithfully capturing every detail and intensity of the original, the left-handed Les Paul 1957 Junior delivers every period-correct feature. The 24-3/4" scale mahogany neck meets the body at the 16th fret. A long neck tenon, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays, and Gibson's traditional '50s rounded neck profile are just some of the guitar's period-accurate appointments. CTS potentiometers, bumble bee capacitors, white-button tuners, and lightweight wraparound tailpiece also match the original. Gibson Custom delivers the left-handed 1957 Les Paul Junior with a standard Gibson Custom Shop case and a certificate of authenticity.
