It starts with an Adirondack red spruce top for powerful, loud, and punchy bass tones, and maintains structural integrity thanks to its high strength-to-weight ratio. The tone is loud and powerful with a focused, punchy bass. The back and sides are solid mahogany, and the set-in neck offers little neck movement, promoting sustain throughout the instrument. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge offers heaviness and stiffness and adds further to the Gibson guitar's overall sustain. The hide glue provides exceptional bond, ensuring the L-00 acoustic can last for decades, through thick and thin. Tonally, the hide glue adds stronger low-mids, and brilliant trebles”ideal tones for fingerpicking. The custom-made vintage-style Waverly tuning machines offer precision tuning in a timeless design, and the lacquer finish completes its antique look.
