With its striking "something old, something new" body shape, the Ibanez FR420 is a musical chameleon. A rich, dramatic, Brown Burst finish is wrapped around an Ash body and complemented by a two-octave Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays.

The big Ibanez difference comes in its Wizard III neck technology, which matches a thin, flat, and highly playable design with sturdiness and reliability. Ibanez proprietary Calm Cruiser CCR1 and CCR2 pickups work in combination with a 5-way switching system that provides a full range of tonal expression. The Tight-End bridge provides a ridged anchor for optimal sustain and allows individual saddle heights to easily be adjusted with just one screw.

Tight End
The Tight-End bridge is perfectly designed to anchor with rigidness and accuracy. Saddles are firmly locked onto the base plate for maximum string vibration, and remain perfectly linear during intonation adjustment for the most accurate set-up. The saddle height can be adjusted individually by one screw. Also, the top side of the bridge is smooth finished. So if you play hard, the Tight-End bridge will absorb your hand's punishment without dishing out any of its own.
