With a shape inspired by the comfortable 0 size 14-fret tenor Martins with a 23" scale, the LX guitar is ideal for student use. Unlike the often brash sound of many beginner or travel guitars, the tone of the LX model is surprisingly warm and projective.

As for durability, the outermost HPL surface of the body is protected with a mar-resistant coating to keep the guitar looking pristine for years. Martin includes a quality protective gigbag with C.F. Martin & Co. logo embroidery at no extra charge.
