HVX Shells Provide a Solid Foundation

At the heart of this DW kit are eight-ply HVX shells, handcrafted in DW's California custom shop. Their unique ply configuration and grain orientation produce a fat, punchy tone with outstanding projection. The kick and snare shells use an even more robust 10-ply construction for maximum low-end and sensitivity.
