Protect your Gibson electric's fretboard when fret polishing.
MusicNomad's Fret Shield sets a new standard for total fretboard protection when fret polishing. No need for blue tape with Fret Shield's reusable design that goes on in seconds, fully protects without damaging the fretboard and lasts hundreds of fret jobs. Its high-quality stainless steel is the perfect thickness at .008" (.20 mm), uses a precision manufacturing process free of burrs, and leaves all edges smooth and rounded. Fret Shield's innovative drop-down edges allow the included rubber bands to hold the Fret Shield in place securely, and keep the bands below the top surface to avoid damaging them during the polishing process. Fret Shields come in the most popular fret scale sizes, and even include a convenient hang hole. Whether your fretboard is finished maple or unfinished rosewood with inlays, Fret Shield will protect it.

- Custom-designed to cover most Gibson Electric Guitars (Les Paul, ES-335, SG and more)—not designed for Gibson acoustics guitars
- Tapered custom design has slot sizes that measure .145" (3.683 mm) in width for the first 12 frets
- Remaining 10 frets are .125" (3.18 mm)
- First fret length: 2.095" (53.217 mm)
- Last fret length 2.497" (63.417 mm)
- Fits all fret sizes (from narrow to jumbo) found on 6- and 7-string guitars.
- Stainless steel thickness is .008" (.20 mm), free of burrs and leaves all edges smooth and rounded
- Rigorously tested and designed to be used with power buffing wheels, power polishing pads and other polishing systems
- Laser-etched logo and size will withstand sanding and filing during fretwork
- Particularly useful for protecting all unfinished (rosewood, ebony) and finished (poly and lacquer) fretboards
- Includes a convenient hang hole
