Military: APO and FPO

Orders to APO and FPO ship via USPS, and take between 6-10 business days

P.O. Boxes

Orders to P.O. Boxes may require additional shipping charges. Call a Gear Adviser at 800-449-9128, and we'll help you out.

Oversized Items

Heavy packages ship via freight, and may require additional shipping charges. The shipping company will call you to schedule your delivery date and time. Someone will need to be home at the scheduled date and time to receive the package. Be sure you have measured your entryway and have help available to carry the item in.

Saturday Delivery

Saturday delivery is available for an additional fee, plus the One-Day rate calculated on the weight of the order. The Saturday delivery option is limited to areas where UPS provides this service. Heavy items are excluded. In addition, orders for Saturday delivery must be placed by 5 p.m. ET on the preceding Friday. If you require Saturday delivery, place your order over the phone with a Gear Adviser at 800-449-9128 so we can help you out.

Saturday delivery is only available for Next Day or 2-Day Express, in the instance that your order would have arrived on a Monday without this service.

Used & Vintage Gear Exclusion

Used and Vintage gear do not include free shipping.

FAQs



The tracking number I received is listed on the UPS site as a package that has already been delivered. Is the tracking number used in my confirmation email incorrect?


The tracking number is correct. UPS periodically recycles those numbers. The correct tracking information for your order should be listed on the UPS website about 24 hours after your order ships. If you have any questions, please call us at 800-449-9128 or email us.




I have my tracking number, but can you tell me where to track my package that was sent via UPS?


Once you have your tracking number, you can track your package through the UPS website or call UPS toll free at 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877).




Do I use the Web PO or Order Confirmation number to track my package?


Musician's Friend uses the Web PO and Order Confirmation numbers to identify orders in our system. As your order is shipped, a tracking number is assigned by the carrier. If we have your current email address on file, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking info when your order is shipped. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation, please email us or call us at 800-449-9128 to confirm shipment of your order.




Are there any exclusions to orders shipped outside of the lower 48 states?


Orders shipping outside the lower 48 states to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico can only be shipped via air services, and will arrive via USPS Standard Post.




Are there any restrictions to military APO or FPO Orders?


Shipping to APO/FPO addresses is limited to 70 lb. per box, and is subject to the same restrictions as domestic deliveries.

Orders shipping to U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Boxes, and U.S. territories (Guam, Virgin Islands, etc.) are shipped via USPS. These orders will arrive in 6-10 business days.




Will my orders be shipped together?


If in-stock items on the order have already shipped, backordered items will be sent via UPS Standard Ground.




Can I have my order shipped to an address other than the one on my credit card billing statement?


In most cases, yes. When an order is shipping to a different address than the billing address, we require that all the credit card information be verified with the issuing bank. This policy protects all parties from unauthorized card use.

To expedite this process, contact your credit card company and let them know that you would like to add an alternate or authorized address. If your credit card company does not allow this, have them list the address in your account notes or memo area. This will help avoid unnecessary delays in processing your order.




Will there be any delays to my purchase?


Although rare, all orders are subject to a 24-hour delay to verify billing information with the credit card issuer. This hold may be necessary to protect you from credit card fraud and identity theft. Due to additional processing time, institutional orders and orders placed using purchase orders may take a bit longer to arrive.
