The Dean Spire 5 String Electric Bass Guitar combines a distinctive body design with powerful electronics. The body is made of mahogany with a comfortable set mahogany neck, producing strong tone with just enough mid-range bark. A flame maple top adds beauty and interest through the gorgeous trans red finish. Deep cutaways permit immediate access to all 22 frets of the C-shaped neck with intricate "Spire" inlays to guide you along the smooth rosewood fingerboard.
The electronic package of the Dean Spire 5 includes 2 DMT design pickups. Each pickup has its own volume control with 3-band active EQ offering nearly infinite control over your sound. Other features include precision Grover tuners, black hardware, and ABM bridge.
