StingRay H Fretless BFR 2019

The upgraded StingRay H Fretless BFR bass is the only fretless StingRay special that Music Man are offering in 2019. It features a highly figured neck (normal StingRay Specials do not). The neck has a glossy polyester finish as opposed to the oil/wax finish they normally use. It also comes with electronics that have powerful neodymium magnets for higher output and an 18-volt 3-Band preamp for extra clean headroom without clipping.

Solid roadworthy construction, sans pickguard, 3+1 tuning key configuration, and the ever popular Music Man humbucker, all together produce a look, feel and sound that is remarkably unmistakable. Limited to 105 worldwide, this special StingRay ships in a nice hardshell case.

Ball Family Reserve is a celebration of their heritage in instrument craftsmanship, which features some of the finest figured tone woods and finishes available. These rare pieces are offered in limited production runs and allow Music Man to present instruments to the public that were previously reserved for family and loyal artists.
