Two solid, Grade-A mahogany body wings complete the iconic Thunderbird package, which cuts a figure recognized on stages the world over. The neck is carved to a comfortably rounded profile that measures .790" at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th, with a width of 1.5" at the nut. It is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made from exotic preciosa, a rich-brown hardwood with outstanding durability and a clear tone.

Strings are anchored at the body end by a rock-solid three-point Thunderbird bridge with individually adjustable saddles, and high-quality Grover tuners at the headstock, all plated in black chrome to match the rockin' look of this bass.
