Schecter's Omen Extreme-4 left-handed electric bass guitar is the perfect bass for the player on a budget that doesn't want to sacrifice looks and sound. With beautiful finish choice on its mahogany body and quality electronics, this bass has everything you need without going broke.

The Omen Extreme-4 comes standard with a maple neck. Maple has a uniform grain, its strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warm tones of a mahogany body. Rosewood is naturally oily and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact, which is why it's used for the Omen Extreme-4's fingerboard. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

For killer tones the Omen Extreme-4 is equipped with Schecter Diamond bass pickups. Matched with the 2-Band Bass/Treble Active E/Q, the bottom end on these pickups will even shake the God of Thunder! The 2-Band Bass/Treble Active E/Q can be dialed in to satisfy all ranges of tones, and the blend knob will allow you to quickly balance between the Bridge and Neck pickup. Ceramic magnet with epoxy casing for lifetime protection.

Schecter Bass tuners provide high quality, precision tuning with minimum weight. Details include a 17:1 gear ratio allowing for precise fine tuning adjustments, removable knobs, threaded peghead bushing, and a 13.6mm diameter peg hole. It's got a traditional steel plated bridge with increased string travel for extra intonation adjustment.
