It has a solid double-cutaway basswood body for lighter weight, while still maintaining a muscular midrange and well-balanced tonality. It’s paired with a bolt-on maple neck, topped with a jatoba fingerboard with 33 medium frets. Additional appointments to the StingRay Ray5 include a single SBMM humbucker, open-gear tuners and chrome hardware.
