A Dozen Piano Pieces... in Various Styles is a series of four books that contain a stylish assortment of pieces. The books are leveled progressively, with Book 1 at a later elementary level, and Book 4 at a later intermediate level. In true Edna Mae Burnam form, all the pieces at each level have titles that are descriptive and vivid, e.g. Song of the Sewing Machine (Book 1), The Princess Learns the Minuet (Book 2), Busy Little Spanish Town (Book 3), and Five O'Clock Rush Hour (Book 4).
