The YSL-448G's F-attachment facilitates an extended range of low tones and alternate slide positions, allowing players to avoid difficult 6th and 7th positions and extends the range of the instrument from Low E down to the pedal tone Bb. Its traditional wrap F-attachment tubing and the hand-lapped rotor and string linkage operate quietly and smoothly. The F-attachment wrap design also maximizes airflow for an open, projecting tone.
