About Laney:
Laney is no stranger to the heavy metal music genre. In fact, founder Lyndon Laney once played in a local band with both John Bonham and Robert Planet before his musical interest turned specifically to amplifier construction in 1967. Since then, Laney has branched out into a wide range of amps, cabinets and heads for a variety of tastes and playing styles.
Whether you have aspirations of stardom or simply enjoy jamming in the garage with pals, there's no telling what a Laney amplifier can do for your performance. From 15 watt combo amps to ear-piercing 100 watt heads, Laney's catalog is growing constantly, and so is their roster of top recording artists, which currently includes Ben Howard, Daniel Linde of HIM, and Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi.
Speaking of the iconic metal shredder, did you know that Tony Iommi has been using Laney amps since 1979, and he even has his own Laney signature amp head? Born out of an extensive period of product development, the TI100 was built hand in hand with Iommi at every stage of its design. Featuring a footswitchable Pre Boost that sits right at the front of the preamp and works in the same way as your favorite boost pedal, this head produces the full on metal guitar tone you'd expect from a legendary pairing like Laney and Iommi. Now, if a combo amp is what you're after, then check out the Lionheart L5T-112. Providing the roar of a British Class A power amp but at a volume that makes it perfect for late night practice sessions at home, this combo amp is portable, versatile, and made to deliver the ultimate tone of a tube being pushed hard.
Now that you have an idea of what Laney offers, the only thing left to do is take a tour through the rest of their selection. Whatever you choose, you can bet that an amplifier from Laney is more than capable of making your high-flying guitar skills sound incredible every time you plug in.
