A clear, distinct snare specifically designed for concert use.
Designed for the discerning ears of the symphony, the Yamaha Concert Series Steel Snare is a sensitive and articulate drum of the highest quality. A 1.2mm stainless steel shell outputs smooth overtones, while hard, high-carbon steel wire snares offer delicate response and make legato rolls easy to play.
The drum is crowned with right-sized 1.6mm triple flanged hoops and black powder-coated hardware. An extra-smooth strainer system allows minute adjustment and quiet on/off. Additional air holes increase clarity and articulation.
