Premium Birch Shells Produce Bold Tone
At the heart of the Genista Heritage shell pack are all-birch shells that provide an aggressive attack, short sustain and clear, precise tone. The rack toms feature 7-ply, 5.6 mm shells while the bass drum has a 9-ply, 7.2 mm shell for greater volume and low-end punch. The shells are undersized by 6mm for easier tuning and projection. Precision 45-degree bearing edges optimize shell resonance and tuning range. The result is a focused, hard-hitting tone perfectly suited for styles from jazz to hard rock.
Iconic Tension Lugs Enhance Sound and Aesthetic
The Genista Heritage shell pack revives Premier's original die-cast tension lug design, a hallmark of the classic Genista series. The oversized lugs are retooled from the original factory specifications to maximize tone and authenticity. The kick drum includes lacquered hoops and die-cast claw hooks for a classic look. Remo UT drum heads provide a warm, balanced tone. A mount for your rack tom is included for quick, stable setups.
