Alder wood cajon with tunable strings and limited-edition playing surface

Schlagwerk's "La Peru" cajon technology relies on special strings to help shape the characteristics of the sound by way of tuning screws located at the base of the instrument. Crafted from seven layers of alder wood, the sound box offers a medium-dry tone with balanced snare and bass sounds.

This special limited-edition model includes an unique playing surface design called The Fog, a dark veneer with contrasting vertical grains.
