Keeley effects pedals are the perfect example of what happens when two passions collide. The company's founder, Robert Keeley, started up his pedal business in 2001, shortly after graduating from Oklahoma University with a degree in electrical engineering.  Roger aspired to create some of the best electronics in the music industry and originally planned to build amplifiers, but he soon realized that his expertise would be better applied to boutique effects pedals instead. Building pedals quickly became a labor of love for Keeley, who worked his way into the art by rebuilding and modifying other effects pedals until he was ready to design and build his own. Keeley's first unit was a boost pedal, and with every new model that the company has released since, they've become more and more influential in the effects pedal community.
