Brilliant vs. Natural Finish

Does a brilliant or natural finish affect the sound of my cymbal?

The answer is no. You should not notice any difference in sound between the two. The only difference is finish. A brilliant finish will have a smooth, bright, shinny, polished look to it. A natural or traditional finish has a natural look to it. It is simply lathed and put on the shelf to be sold.
