Sweet concert ukulele with Grateful Dead graphic.
The graphic for GDU26C-Filmore features a design based on imagery created by Tim Truman for the album Dave’s Picks Volume 6, which was recorded in two parts at the Filmore Auditorium in San Francisco, 1969, and also at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, 1970. An iconic skeleton with a black top hat is surrounded by red, white and blue, with the Grateful Dead logo emblazoned across the center and roses in full bloom above the soundhole.
The graphic for GDU26C-Remix features a magical collage of some of the Grateful Dead’s most iconic symbolism, including Owsley Stanley’s Dancing Bears, Dancing Skeletons, and the turtles from the Terrapin Station album cover, all set within a design based on Stanley’s iconic Steal Your Face Logo.
The graphic for GDU26C-Saint features imagery created by Tim Truman for the cover of the Dave Picks Vol. 6 album. An iconic, winged Grateful Dead skeleton cradles a guitar, a bed of roses beneath him and the classic Grateful Dead logo above him, encircling the sound hole.
The graphic for GDU26C-Idaho features a brightly colored rendering of art created originally by Tim McDonagh for the album Dave’s Picks Volume 27. Two Skeletons astride a flying skeletal horse soar above a psychedelic colorscape. Dave’s Picks Volume 27 features a complete concert by the Grateful Dead, recorded at the Boise State University Pavilion in 1983.
The graphic for GDU26C-Darkstar features a variation of Owsley Stanley’s iconic "Steal Your Face" logo with a rendering of the earth and moon as seen from space (aptly known as “Space Your Face”), as well as an intricate rose design based on the Grateful Dead’s ubiquitous roses.
