Resoluxe Single-Cut Resonator Guitar

The Resoluxe from Beard Guitars is not your average electric guitar. This updated version of their most versatile hybrid resonator/electric features upgraded electronics and a sleek neck body joint. The Resoluxe's body and hand-carved neck are solid mahogany. The neck with ebony fretboard are fitted to the body with black ferrule concealed bolts that fasten into threaded inserts.The vintage-inspired thin satin tobacco sunburst finish on the body and neck give the guitar a rootsy “get down to business” visual vibe.

The Resoluxe comes standard with a Beard 8.25 handspun biscuit cone that lowers the possibility of feedback, and a Fishman Nashville bridge pickup, coupled with a Lollar magnetic pickup at the neck. A Fishman Powerchip preamp allows impedance balance between the neck and bridge pickups. The combination of these two pickups provides endless possibilities for unique sound and tone for both live and recording situations. The built-in stereo capability allows the player to run the neck and bridge pickup to separate signal chains and amplifiers. The Fishman Smartjack will detect the insertion of a mono cable and route the blend of both pickups to a single amplifier.

The acoustic output of the guitar is a perfect balance of lower volume for practice without disturbing others, but perfect for late night or motel room “on the road” woodshedding. The Resoluxe, like all Beard guitars, is handcrafted in small batches by a focused group of luthiers in Hagerstown, MD.
