This gorgeous banjo offers plenty of projection with its pairing of a flame maple body, maple resonator and 14-ply hardwood rim, 26.35" scale maple neckand flat ebony fretboard. The well-rounded warmth of its maple-heavy tone is complemented by the plenty of great aesthetic detailing. Thick white binding perfectly frames the dark flame maple of the sides and is a nice contrast to the tobacco sunburst of the tobacco sunburst of the back. The all-chrome hardware and fancy inlays along its fingerboard and peghead also give the Americana B16 a visual pop that harkens to a much more professional-level instrument. Other features include a bound maple neck with double adjustable tension rods, die-cast tension hoop, bell brass tone ring, clamshell tailpiece, Remo head, and 5 geared Planetary tuning machines.
