With the crucial role of turning audio signals into actual sound, your speaker cabinet is a critical component of your guitar's tone. The cab goes hand-in-hand with your amp head, and it's every bit as essential to know that you've got one you can count on to always sound amazing. Fortunately, Randall guitar amplifier cabinets do just that. Paired up with a Randall head or your favorite boutique model, these cabs deliver impressive sounds every time you plug them in. Knowing Randall's background easily explains what makes the company's cabinets so amazing. It was founded in 1970 by Don Randall, an audio enthusiast and protege to Leo Fender. After spending over 20 years working closely with Leo Fender, Don struck out on his own to create Randall Amplifiers. From the beginning, Randall put a lot of emphasis on pioneering technology, superior sound quality and solid engineering. Those high standards helped land Randall's cabinets onstage with countless musicians, such as Metallica's Kirk Hammett, who uses multiple Randall 4x12 cabs, and George Lynch of Dokken, Lynch Mob and Souls of We, who has his own signature model - the LB412.
Randall has a big presence in metal, with a few lineups of cabinets that are all about letting you thrash with the best - specifically, the Diavlo and appropriately-named Thrasher series. These cabs come with either Celestion speakers or Randall's own homebrewed drivers depending on the model, and all of them are designed and built to satisfy fundamental metalhead demands: obscenely high gain, precise attack, crushing tone and all the down-tuning love you could ask for.
If you're a classic rocker or just searching for something with a more vintage look and feel, check out the Celestion Vintage 30-equipped RV series. Or, if you want something to use in the studio, you can't miss the Randall Isolation 12. This fully enclosed cabinet has a built-in mic, making it a self-contained sound booth so you can record every nuance of guitar tone without waking the neighbors.
Of course, Randall provides plenty of high-powered options if you do want to be heard by everyone around. With a whole catalog of cabs to choose from, ranging from the compact RG8 to a slew of monster 4x12 units, Randall guitar amplifier cabinets have you covered onstage, in the studio or wherever else your guitar needs to be heard.
