Alvarez is redefining the entry-level guitar with their Regent Series line. This high-quality collection of entry-level guitars is designed to give younger players, or those just starting to play, an enjoyable experience. When developing the Regent Series line, Alvarez wanted to positively impact the act of learning to play guitar. Firstly, for new players, and all players, it's important for the guitar to sound great, so that students experience a positive response and enjoy the sound they're making.

Alvarez also believes a great student guitar should be easier to play, so they gave the Regent Series models a slim and comfortable neck profile with a 1 11/16" (43mm) nut width. This provides enough spacing should players want to learn fingerpicking, but it's also slim enough to help fret the guitar and make those early notes sound clear.
