The Excel SS has earned its place as a modern standout. A 15-inch-wide single-cutaway archtop, the SS is lightweight, punchy, and versatile. High-output Kent Armstrong humbuckers make for crisp attack and remarkable resonance, while a slim C-shape neck profile offers maximum comfort. Revered by players from Bob Weir to Kurt Rosenwinkel, the SS is no stranger to stages. Now available with both signature D’Angelico Stairstep trapeze-style tailpiece or a traditional stop tailpiece with full center block. Includes hardshell case.
