Made of mahogany and capped with an ebony fingerboard, the neck's smooth playing feel will inspire your creativity. 24 stainless steel frets provide a lifetime of playability. A 12" to 16" compound radius adds modern precision without sacrificing comfort.

Signature Electronics Provide Endless Tonal Options

John Petrucci worked closely with DiMarzio to develop signature pickups that suit his needs perfectly. A Rainmaker neck pickup delivers warm, full tone. A Dreamcatcher bridge pickup provides tight, focused output with plenty of harmonic richness. An adjustable gain boost, controlled via a push-pull volume knob, can add up to 20dB of gain for lead passages that soar above the mix.

Piezo-Equipped Bridge Provides Versatile Tone

A piezo-equipped tremolo bridge allows blending piezo and magnetic pickups for a wide range of tones. The piezos accurately capture the natural resonance of the guitar's mahogany and maple construction. Blend in the signature DiMarzio pickups for crystalline highs and fluid sustain.
