The Horizon is the flagship ESP model and this Original ESP Horizon-PT has many custom features that set it apart from the run-of-the-mill. The Horizon-PT has a structure similar to the Horizon-CTM that uses a hard plain hard maple for the body top, aiming for a more glossy and contoured sound. Reproduces a clear and crisp sound image even if it is distorted hard. Pickups are Seymour Duncan 59/Jazz hybrid combining thickness and brightness (N) and JB/Custom Hybrid (B) for thick low-end gain with the presence of a JB model. Other features include Original Floyd Rose bridge, gold hardware, Gotoh tuners, maple neck with ebony fingerboard and custom double-stripe inlays in mother-of-pearl/Recon stone.
