A strat-style body with lusty graphics and a single EMG active pickup.
The ESP LTD Heavy Metal 1 Electric Guitar pays homage to the adult illustrated fantasy magazine, Heavy Metal. This evocative model has a double-cutaway alder body with bolt-on neck construction. The neck is made from maple and has a thin U contour with a sleek ebony fingerboard, 24 extra-jumbo frets and special inlays surrounding the 12th fret. It comes with a single EMG 81 active pickup and a single Volume control for unrestrained power. Black nickel hardware includes LTD precision tuners and a tune-o-matic bridge. A hardshell case is included.
