Overview

A hard-hitting baritone with exceptional playability and tone-shaping controls.

The ESP LTD SN-1007 Baritone Electric Guitar brings the muscular low end and expressive sustain of a baritone guitar together with the comfortable playability of ESP's signature guitars. With its 27" scale length, the SN-1007 Baritone reaches into bass guitar territory while preserving the snap and presence expected from a guitar. The thin U-shaped roasted maple and purpleheart neck provides stability and smooth playability. The Macassar ebony fingerboard has a compound radius design for effortless riffing and soloing. Jumbo stainless steel frets and a scalloped section from frets 17-24 facilitate intricate techniques. The SN-1007 Baritone comes loaded with Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, using push/pull controls to access two distinct voices per pickup. The ceramic bridge pickup produces tight chunky rhythm tones as well as blistering leads. The alnico neck pickup delivers rounded lows with excellent note separation. With its extended range and flexible electronics, the ESP LTD SN-1007 Baritone Guitar is ideal for metal, hard rock and progressive genres.

Reach New Lows With a 27" Baritone Scale

The SN-1007 Baritone's extended 27" scale length lets you plunge into the bottom octave while retaining the playability of a standard electric guitar. Compared to a bass guitar, it has tighter string tension that makes it easier to dig into the strings for complex riffing and shredding. The long scale accentuates the differences between string gages, giving you clearly defined wound and plain strings. Tune it down to B or A and you'll have thunderous low-end punch without losing articulation. Or try an open tuning for massive power chords. However you use it, the SN-1007 Baritone's low B string will add a new dimension to your playing.

Roasted Maple and Purpleheart Neck Provides Stability

The SN-1007 Baritone has a thin U-shaped neck made from roasted maple and purpleheart. The five-piece roasted maple construction ensures rigidity for stable tuning, while the purpleheart center strip adds striking visual flair. Roasted maple has enhanced stability compared to regular maple, ideal for the baritone scale length. The U-shaped profile offers substance without being too bulky. Combined with the smooth Macassar ebony fingerboard, it's a pleasure to quickly move around the 27" scale. The neck joint uses ESP's secure bolt-on construction for reliable tuning stability, backed up with locking tuners.

Ebony Fingerboard Enhances Speed

Designed for high performance playing, the Macassar ebony fingerboard has a compound radius that flattens out as you move up the neck. The 12" radius at the nut facilitates intricate chords and complex voicings. By the time you reach the 16" radius at the body end, you can rip through lightning fast solos with ease. The extra jumbo stainless steel frets further enhance speed by providing a smooth surface for bends and slides. The scalloped section from frets 17-24 lets you apply vibrato effects with minimal effort. With its slick feel and jumbo frets, the SN-1007 Baritone's fingerboard is built for guitarists who demand high velocity playing across the extended baritone range.

Fishman Fluence Pickups Offer Exceptional Tone-Shaping

The SN-1007 Baritone comes equipped with Fishman's acclaimed Fluence Modern humbuckers, taking its sonic potential to new levels. The ceramic bridge pickup produces crushing distortion, searing leads and tight low end. Pull up on the volume knob to access a vintage-voiced setting with organic breakup. The alnico neck pickup delivers fat, rounded lows while still retaining note clarity. Pull up on its volume knob for a clear, articulate voice. With the advanced electronics, you can shape your tone for everything from chugging rhythms to singing leads. The Fluence pickups give you exceptional control over your sound.
