So, Dave began to collaborate with the renowned guitar experts at Gibson Custom Shop to develop Dave's "perfect" Les Paul. The result is a beautiful and versatile Les Paul Axcess model unlike anything else available. </font><br><br><font face="Arial">Dave requested a figured top with a "Boston Sunset Fade" finish (inspired by his home town), a unique white ebony fingerboard, an extra-chunky neck profile, a Floyd Rose tremolo and two '57 Classic Plus humbucker pickups. He also insisted on the latest Axcess construction elements including a swept neck heel, revised back contours and an Apex headstock carve which naturally strengthens the neck.
