This highly collectible tribute to the King of the Flat-tops features upgraded, hand-finished detailing in mother-of-pearl as well as select rosewood back and sides. The SJ-200 Rosewood is available for a limited time and capped at only 40 handcrafted instruments worldwide.

When pared with the robust, large-bodied SJ-200 design and the classic 200 appointments, this limited edition offers all of the iconic look, feel, and tone of the King of the Flat-tops with the add tonal dynamics of rosewood back and sides. Providing a full, warm, and round sound. The traditional Gibson logo and crown on the peg head are also detailed in mother-of-pearl.

The traditional SJ-200 pickguard compliments the premium Antique Natural finished Sitka spruce top further finished with Gibson' signature hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer, this beautiful, limited edition SJ-200 Rosewood will age beautifully over time as the finish and woods mature. Featuring the added versatility of a built-in L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup with a bridge plate mounted microphone and blendable undersaddle element for superior acoustic amplification.

Only 40 SJ-200 Rosewoods will be made for this global Limited Edition run. Each guitar includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity, hardshell case with plush-lined interior and owner's manual.
