Studio Custom Vintage Electric Guitar

Hamer took their Studio Custom Electric Guitar and added some personal touches to make it a one-of-a-kind model. The first hint is the black ebony fingerboard and phenomenal quilt maple top. Hand carved from Hamer's ultimate grade wood stash, this top is so deep it looks like you could fall in. A particularly clever technique is employed to slice a thin layer of the top wood in order to create the headstock overlay. This makes a perfect match to the body. The Hamer logo is cut from genuine mother-of-pearl and then hand inlaid on the headstock. The entire guitar (head, neck and body) is outlined with hand-formed cellulose binding--multilayered in black and natural ivoroid.

The one-piece Honduras Mahogany body is chambered for a more complex tonal response and lighter weight. To translate the resonance of this rare bird, builder Jol Dantzig turned to old pal Seymour Duncan for a pair of custom prescribed humbucker pickups.
