513 stands for 5 pickups and 13 sounds, achieved with an easy to use integrated electronics control package, which includes volume control, tone control and two blade switches. One blade switch is a 5-way pickup selector, and the other is a 3-way mode switch that allows you to select between the single-coil, clear humbucking and heavy humbucking modes. A versatile instrument, the 513 comes standard with a maple top, V12 finish and Pattern Regular mahogany neck. Includes case.

What is a 10 top?
A very small percent of the maple trees cut in North America are actually figured. To make "10-Top" status, a PRS top must have clearly defined figure across its entire top with no "dead" spots. A guitar designated as a 10-Top will usually have a small "10" written on the back of the headstock in the upper right corner. Some of the earlier guitars have the "10" stamped into the finish in the same position.
