For Guitar Center's Crossroads Collection celebrating the 2023 Crossroads Festival, PRS has specially created this Paul Reed Smith Private Stock Carlos Santana edition, replicating one of the first guitars PRS ever created for the iconic guitarist.
Superstar Specs
Featuring PRS' pre-1985 body and headstock shapes, and boasting pre-’85 factory parts, this stunning guitar is graced with a 24-fret fingerboard of coveted Brazilian rosewood from PRS' legendary wood collection. With a period-correct abalone eagle headstock inlay and PRS bird inlays on the fingerboard, abalone purfling along with a custom abalone Santana OM inlay on the truss rod cover and the gorgeously figured maple tops for which PRS is renowned, the look is classic and timeless. As with any PRS guitar, the fit, finish and playability are flawless.
Classic Sounds
The electronics are configured with signature PRS Santana humbuckers, with dual mini toggle switches for Santana’s unique take on pickup selection, enabling incredible sonic versatility. Each of the 10 guitars in this very limited production run includes a frameable certificate of authenticity signed by Paul Reed Smith and a letter signed by Carlos Santana, as well as a custom PRS Private Reserve hard case.
