The Taylor T5 Classic Acoustic-Electric Guitar is distinguished by an ovangkol top and a fretboard inlay of small diamonds. The T5 guitar's satin finish and unbound body, however, lean toward understatement.

The T5 Classic offers the same sweeping range of acoustic and electric tones as Taylor's other hybrid hollowbody T5 guitars, incorporating a hidden neck humbucker pickup, a visible bridge humbucker, and an acoustic body sensor inspired by Taylor's Expression System acoustic pickup.

Five-way switching and 2 active preamp/EQ tone controls help the Taylor T5 Classic to redefine guitar tonal versatility, from clean acoustic to full-tilt electric crunch, or a blend of both.
