The Behringer Pro-800 brings back the classic sound of analog synthesis with modern features to inspire today's musician. This eight-voice polyphonic synthesizer packs two VCOs per voice for a total of 16 oscillators running in unison mode. With pure analog signal path and authentic VCO, VCF and VCA designs, the Pro-800 delivers the rich, warm vintage tone that made synths like the Prophet 600 so iconic. Yet it also provides conveniences like MIDI connectivity and 400 patch memory for storing your custom sounds.
Create Massive Textures
Immerse yourself in layers of sound with the Pro-800's eight voice polyphony, each powered by two VCOs. Every voice can access up to six simultaneous oscillator shapes between OSC A and B like sawtooth, triangle and pulse width modulation. Detune the two VCOs per voice for chorusing effects or engage Unison mode to stack all 16 VCOs together. The result is a sound so huge and complex, it's like playing an entire ensemble of vintage analog synths at once. Sculpt your tone further with the Pro-800's low pass VCF and ADSR envelope generator.
Store and Recall 400 Patches With Onboard Memory
The Pro-800 allows you to store up to 400 of your custom programmed patches right onboard, avoiding the hassle of patch documentation. Simply dial up any patch number on the keypad and your sound is ready to play. Saving your best tweaks frees you up to focus on performing and songwriting, not programming. Additionally, with MIDI implementation, you can manage patch storage and integration with DAWs and iOS apps.
Add to Your Eurorack With Power And Mounting
Designed for Eurorack compatibility, the Pro-800 has a standard 3U rackmount form factor and includes power and mounting hardware. Connecting it to a Eurorack power supply lets you incorporate this classic polyphonic synth into a modular rig alongside other synth voices. Routing audio and CV between modules opens up creative options like processing the Pro-800's oscillators through external effects or using its onboard sequencer to control other gear.
Inspire Ideas With Arpeggiator and Sequencer
The Pro-800 includes an arpeggiator and step sequencer to stimulate musical creativity. Choose from multiple arp patterns to quickly build evolving textures. The polyphonic 2-track sequencer lets you program melodies and rhythmic sequences for modulation and gating. These tools break you out of your normal habits and add motion to your music.
