You also get four medium diaphragm mics that attach to the hoops of your mounted toms and snare with their fully adjustable clamps. Position each dynamic mic towards the center of the drumhead to pick up the sweet spot. To complete the set, two small diaphragm condenser mics accurately capture every shimmering cymbal detail. One mic can be positioned above the snare aimed at the ride cymbal, while the other focuses on the hi-hat for an immersive overhead image.</p> <h3>Large Diaphragm Mic Grabs Kick Drum Lows</h3> <p>The BC1200 includes a sturdy large diaphragm dynamic microphone specially designed to handle the demanding low frequencies and high SPL of kick drums. It mounts inside the kick drum shell on a short stand, aimed at the beater for more pronounced attack and transients. Angling it toward the edge provides a boomier, resonant kick drum sound. With its wide frequency response and tight polar pattern, this robust kick drum mic accurately captures the full low-end punch and click of your bass drum.</p> <h3>Medium Diaphragm Mics Attach to Toms and Snare</h3> <p>The set comes with four dynamic medium diaphragm mics ideally suited for close miking toms and snare drums. Each mic has a sturdy clamp that securely mounts onto the drum hoop, providing complete flexibility in angle and distance from the batter head. Position them close to the head, aimed at the center for a focused, crackling snare snap and clear, resonant tom tones.
