The B1031A studio monitor combines heavyweight power with a lightweight build that makes positioning easy.</p> <h3>Dial in Your Ideal Mix With 150W of Bi-Amplified Power</h3> <p>Inside each B1031A monitor, you'll find 150W of bi-amplified power courtesy of dedicated class AB amplifiers for the woofer and tweeter. 100W drive the 8" Kevlar woofer for authoritative lows and tight bass, while 50W power the 1" dome tweeter for soaring highs. That ample power equips the B1031A to deliver room-filling volume without distortion so you can critically listen at realistic levels. The built-in active crossover routes the proper frequencies to each driver for a cohesive sound.</p> <h3>Hear Every Nuance With the Kevlar Woofer and Dome Tweeter</h3> <p>The B1031A owes its transparent sound to the 8" Kevlar woofer and 1" dome tweeter. Kevlar's strength prevents distortion even at high volumes so the woofer reproduces bass and midrange tones with accuracy. Since Kevlar is lightweight, the woofer reacts quickly for articulate mids and tight low end. The dome tweeter soars up to 35 kHz for airy highs. Together, these transducers supply the honest sound that makes flaws obvious during mixing and mastering.</p> <h3>Adapt the Sound to Your Room's Acoustics</h3> <p>To help fine tune the B1031A monitors to your room's acoustics, Behringer equipped them with adjustable midrange and high frequency EQ. Cut or boost up to 6dB at 2.5 kHz to compensate for overly bright or dull rooms. Attenuate the tweeter by -2dB or -4dB if your room has excessive reverberation. Place the B1031A monitors in corners to enhance bass or away from walls for neutral low end.
