Mic Up Anything With 18 Phantom-Powered Inputs
The XR18 comes loaded with 16 combo XLR/TRS inputs to connect microphones, instruments and line-level sources. Each input channel features switchable +48V phantom power to accommodate condenser mics or active D.I. boxes with ease. Two additional 1/4" TRS inputs handle extra line-level sources. Midas-designed mic preamps lend pristine clarity and warmth to any signal passing through them, while ultra-low latency lets you monitor with confidence. Dial in the perfect gain staging and make dynamic adjustments on the fly using the intuitive control app.
Take Complete Control Wirelessly With Built-In Wi-Fi
Thanks to integrated WiFi, the XR18 allows wireless remote control of every function directly from your tablet. Move freely around the venue or studio and tweak settings in real time to craft your ideal mix. The freedom of mobility lets you experience the sound from any location so you can adjust monitors from each performer's perspective or tweak the FOH mix to accommodate the room's acoustics. Since the control app mirrors the mixer's interface, you'll feel right at home adjusting levels, panning, effects and more.
Record and Playback Audio via USB
In addition to crafting great mixes, the XR18 doubles as a multichannel USB audio interface. Simply connect a thumb drive to the front-panel USB port and hit record to capture stereo mixes with ease. This allows recording live performances without the need for a laptop. The USB connection also supports uncompressed two-track playback directly from the mixer, making it easy to play background music between sets.
Built-in FX and EQs
The XR18 comes loaded with four independent studio-grade effects engines, offering a massive FX rack at your fingertips. Choose from over 20 different effects like delay, reverb, chorus, compression and more to dial in just the right amount of processing. Visual feedback from the control app lets you tweak parameters and see results immediately. six AUX sends allow crafting custom monitor mixes with adjustable EQ and dynamics processing per mix. The integrated 100-band RTA provides the visual references you need to make precise adjustments.
