A PCI Digital Audio System delivers everything you need to produce audio on a PC with professional results.

The 1212M V3 PCIe Digital Audio System is a PCI Express version of E-Mu's Digital Audio System. The 1212M V3 offers a new high speed PCI Express 1 lane interface that can run at 400 megabytes per second and can transfer data 4 times faster than standard PCI in both directions simultaneously. By using a compact 1 lane PCI Express interface, the Digital Audio System PCIe cards have the high speed necessary for multi-channel audio transfer, compatibility with new high speed Windows PC motherboards, while allowing full compatibility with 1, 4, 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots.

The Digital Audio System software and drivers are compatible with Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows XP and XP x64. The hardware is PCIe base specification 1.1 compliant and has been extensively tested to ensure mutual compatibility and interoperability with a wide variety of motherboards.

E-MU Digital Audio Systems deliver everything you need to produce audio on a PC with professional results: hardware-accelerated effects and mixing, 24-bit/192kHz converters (the 1212M contain the same A/D converters used in Digidesign's ProTools HD 192 I/O interface), comprehensive digital options and seamless compatibility with your favorite PC audio/sequencer software.

The 1212M PCIe system offers 12 inputs and 12 outputs plus 16 channels of MIDI I/O.

A Vista-compatible version of E-MU's powerful Production Tools Software Bundle is also included, providing musicians with a host of powerful Mac and PC audio and MIDI applications “ everything needed to create, record and edit music.
