This direct-drive turntable provides high torque, exceptional stability and audio quality for the most demanding performance conditions. With a familiar layout and rugged build, the PLX-1000 bridges analog nostalgia and digital compatibility.
A High-Torque Direct-Drive System Delivers Precision
The PLX-1000 features a high-torque direct-drive mechanism, achieving a starting torque of at least 4.5 kg/cm and reaching the fixed rotation speed within .3 seconds at 33-1/3 rpm. Whether beat juggling or beatmatching, this turntable provides the power and accuracy needed for mastery.
A Classic Layout With Modern Upgrades
The PLX-1000 has a user-friendly layout familiar to DJs worldwide, with quick tempo control on the right and a start/stop button on the left. An illuminated speed guide and pop-up LED target light provide visual cueing. While nostalgic in feel, the PLX-1000 is designed for today's digital DJs with DVS compatibility.
A Heavy-Mass, Vibration-Dampened Design
To prevent vibration and ensure stable playback, the PLX-1000 features a zinc die-cast chassis and 8 mm-thick resin base reinforced by 9 mm of vibration-damping material. The high-quality tone arm also uses rubber insulation to minimize howling. RCA jacks with gold-plated parts provide low impedance and pristine sound.
Convenient, Detachable Cables
The PLX-1000 comes with detachable power and RCA cables for transportability and lower maintenance. The turntable is built to withstand the rigors of performance while remaining user-friendly.
