The sE4100 comes equipped with a switchable -10dB pad, giving you extended headroom when working with louder audio sources. Engaging the pad prevents clipping when close miking guitar amps, brass instruments or loud vocalists. It also helps compensate for proximity effect on booming kick drums and other low-frequency intensive sounds. The pad expands the sE4100's versatility, allowing optimal gain staging across a diverse range of studio and live sound sources.
Eliminate Rumble With Low-Cut Filter
A switchable 80Hz low-cut filter removes unwanted rumble, giving you tighter low end. Engage it when close miking bass cabinets or kick drums to eliminate muddiness. It also reduces footfall noise and other low frequency rumble on stage. The low-cut filter improves isolation, allowing the sE4100 to capture your core sound without boominess or muddiness. For flexible tone shaping right at the source, rely on the sE4100's integrated pad and low-cut filter.
