Overview
The Vestax QFO Hybrid Turntable/Mixer project started as a suggestion by Q-BERT who wanted an instrument for the next generation of turntablists. The process of making a new instrument is a simple repeat of creation and destruction. 8 revisions of the handmade prototype were built with Q-BERT testing and refining the product over the course of a year-and-a-half. The best position for each knob and feature was found and tests for the 180 degree pitch control, dynamic straight-arm, cross fader were run over and over. When all the problems were solved, the QFO was born.

Dynamic balance A.S.T.S. arm The A.S.T.S. arm is known for it's abilities of not skipping and has now evolved with applying the newly developed Dynamic Tone Arm system that resists skipping at any angle.
